From Concept to Production: Six Approval Gates for a Custom Glass Bottle

A custom project usually has six approval gates: requirement and feasibility review, drawing freeze, mold approval, first-sample review, decoration and component matching, and the pre-production reference sample. Each gate should record the version, owner and approval date.

If the formula, filling temperature, drop requirement or shipping method changes, the relevant tests should be reviewed again. Early confirmation of neck and closure tolerances, decoration registration and pack protection reduces late rework.
